I have played RPGs since I was 13 when someone introduced me to 1e and since then I never looked back. I’ve also drawn my whole life so it’s natural I would meld the two worlds together. I worked for a while as a graphic artist but took a long break during which time I learned guitar and put out a couple of albums, had a kid, and a bunch of other life stuff, but I never lost my love for the game. I played when I could and dreamed about playing when I couldn’t. My whole life I have designed and created games, kept note books and otherwise lived with my head firmly in the clouds. I started drawing cartoons and posting them on Twitter. Gradually I started creating dungeons and other game content too and found a great bunch of people on Twitter with who’s encouragement and support got me creating content on a regular basis. The whole Map_a_Day thing started with a post about a stack of graph paper I bought and what I should do with it. Someone suggested I make little dungeons with it and post them to Twitter so that’s what I did. I had no idea what it would turn into or how much work it would be or how much fun it would be. Along the road I have met a lot of great people and made friends. I’ll let you in on a little secrete: I have no idea what I’m doing but it’s been a lot of fun doing it.

Independent game designer, pixel artist, and game jam aficionado, creating unusual alternative games and participating in One Game A Month.
Diane Mueller is an independent designer who got her start making game art in highschool. During her college years, where she led teams to create award winning games such as Cadence and Five Suns, she discovered she had a much greater affinity for design than for art, although she still has a soft spot for pixel art. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2014, and afterwards began creating games solo. Her first commercial project, Fragile Soft Machines, was released on March 28th, 2015. She is now developing her next game, Visual Out.
